Recreation

The vision God provided for this endeavor includes an extensive recreational component, built on the real and attainable prospect of developing physical discipline and training toward various sports professions.
This vision will require the creation of facilities and fields, along with the direct involvement of current and retired professional athletes. Field sports will include football, soccer, baseball, and handball, while court sports will include basketball, tennis, and volleyball. As the organization grows, the physical layout will expand based on community needs, emerging talent, and financial capacity.
We also hope to include swimming and gymnastics in the future. However, the recreational aspect of this organization is not focused on pursuing or securing employment in professional sports. Rather, we believe that quality recreational facilities will inspire people to use them, share them, and take pride in them.
Sports have a unique power — respect, admiration, and love for athletic excellence transcend racial, social, cultural, and prejudicial boundaries. Yet, we recognize that recreation alone does not transform character or build essential life skills. Without an educational foundation, a recreation yard is merely a place to pass the time — and while spending time in positive recreation is far better than engaging in harmful behavior, true transformation requires more.
At GNZ, we believe there must be a clear path of skills training that instills hope and provides a tangible, achievable opportunity to transition from the streets toward stability, social acceptance, contribution, and longevity.
We understand that successful athletes are among the few figures who command admiration from all walks of life — from those in poverty to the wealthy, from the young to the elderly, across all races and backgrounds. Everyone — mothers, fathers, grandparents, siblings, friends — can find inspiration in hearing how professional athletes overcame obstacles to achieve greatness.
Professional athletes will help draw the community together, while our vocational training programs — tailored to industries in each local area — will create real opportunities for sustainable careers and meaningful lives.
This is the vision and the mandate that the founder was given by God. This is why The GNZ was created.
We will also offer GED (General Educational Development) certification courses and exceptional vocational training programs, designed to provide certifications aligned with local employment opportunities.
Join him. Join us. Join our movement. Together, we will reclaim our inner cities — one life, one family, one city at a time.
1 Life. 1 Family. 1 City.
“One X One X One For All!”
