All of the Directors, including Jesus, have full-time jobs, aside from their work and commitment to our Inner City Inhabitants.
We are dedicated to God;

His experience: immeasurable.
The founder was given this mission while serving 36 years of continuous incarceration. Each Director has talents and experience in areas the GNZ will need and specialize in.
Directors
Jesus Christ: The Messiah
Master & Director of All
Jesus came into the world to ease suffering, pain, illness, and to provide the Way, the Truth, the Life, for any that would believe on Him and follow His way.
He came to save the world, not to condemn it (John 3:17).
He came that we might have life and more abundantly (John 10:10).
He is the CEO of this company and the Universe.
Jesus is the Head of the Church and Lord & Master of this organization. Jesus is first in the lives of this nonprofit's founder and all of its directors.
He created the Universe and everything in it (Colossians 1:16; John 1:3). He provided the Vision for the GNZ and we, the directors, are obedient to His Ways and are practicing His Royal Commandment:

Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets (Matthew 22:36-40).
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love (1 Corinthians 13:13).

Ronnie Rae Orman:
Director of Operations
From Car Salesman and Sales Manager, to International Realtor, to his service to God and People, Mr. Orman's experience with dealing with people uniquely qualifies him for the endeavor to bring our Hope for the inner cities to reality.
He is dedicated to the GNZ goal of reclaiming our inner cities: One by One by One For All.
Darlene Girouard:
Director/Treasurer
Former Treasurer/Finance Manager for 1st Baptist Church of Dickinson, Texas, and a servant of God and people.
She worked from 1979 - 2024 as an Inventory Manager at the Johnson's Space Center for various sub-contracting compaines with NASA.
She is very family oriented and that translates to the community.
She realizes the need to reclaim our inner cities: One by One by One For All.
Anna Kovacevich:
Director/Recovery Support/Peer Specialist
She is deeply interested and heavily involved with all aspects of recovery.
She is living proof that, if given the opportunities and the right support services and individuals, life-changing recovery is not only possible, but will equip you to lead others to victorious and extremely satisfying lives.
She has dedicated her life to serving others, through helping them find the opportunities and support that has resulted in her miraculous successes.

Shane Kovacevich:
Director
He enjoys 20 years of Recovery in NA/AA and has dedicated his life to serving others, and helping them rise above their circumstance to find the quality in a life of service.
He and his wife, Anna (see above) are a team of Christians who are filled with the Love of God and Others.​
He is CEO/Founder of Shane's Tree Service, and employs individuals in Recovery from True Courage and BAC. He provides them with transportation to and from the job-sites and counsels, encourages, and leads them to take advantabe of the support, love, and opportunities available to them.
He and his wife, Anna (see above) are a team of Christians who are filled with the Love of God and Others.​
He has a heart for the leading the incarcerated to the Love of God, and serves as Volunteer Chaplain for Brazoria and Galveston Counties in Texas.
He realizes the need to reclaim our inner cities: One by One by One For All, and is dedicated to that end.
Debra Dainwood
Director/Secretary
Debra has worked for 20-plus years in the medical field as a Referral Coordinator/Personal Service Representive, and Ultrasound Scheduler.
She is a woman of God, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and she has lived her life seeing that others are cared for.
She has a heart for God and others, and realizes the need to provide others with the opportunities, support and love that she has enjoyed life-long.

John Dainwood
founder/president/director
He is determined, dedicated, and resolved, to provide the opportunities that were given to him, in spite of his circumstances, mistakes — and the depth of the hole he had dug for himself, before realizing that he could not do it alone and that there are people who genuinely care.
During the years of his imprisonment, the founder took full advantage of the opportunities made available to him.
He began by earning his GED and certifying in multiple vocational courses (Auto-mechanics, Diesel Mechanics, BasicBoiler Room Operations,HVACR: Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and ended with AAS degrees from Lee College of Baytown,Texas, in Auto Mechanics, Microcomputer Application/Networking, and Web Authoring/Computer Support Specialist –– the skills from which he built and manages this website).
He also obtained certifications from Microsoft as a Specialist in 2007 Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint. He obtained On-the-Job certifications in Baking, Barbering, and as a Teacher's Aide in the Business Computer Information Systems (BCIS) and Diesel Mechanics vocational courses.
He did agriculture work in the fields and held positions in the following areas of employment: Kitchen (Dish Washer, Inmate Line server, Waiter, Floor Man, Baker, Officer's Mess Hall Line Server), Trash Crew, Floor Squad, Inside Yard Squad, Paint Squad, Inmates' Barber, Officers' Barber, General Maintenance, and Craftshop Clerk.
He wanted to list all of these things to show his adaptability, diversity in skills acquired, and willingness to do whatever is necessary when and where required.
3½ decades is a long time, and Prison Officials assign employment via classification guidelines, disciplinary records, and security requirements. Thus, there is a diversity of jobs and skills.
The educational achievements were pursued and achieved in addition to working full-time jobs.
In prison, the founder started at the bottom and worked his way up to the top positions in each area of employment.
Upon release on November 19th, 2014, the founder had the GPS tracking monitor removed at the earliest possible span of time (1 year), and promoted in parole status from Super Intensive Parole Supervision (24/7 GPS tracking, house arrest, weekly office reporting), to standard parole supervision (monthly reporting and then to bi-monthly reporting and then to quarterly reporting).
Most importantly, the founder's drive for excellence is rooted in – and stems from – his years of seeking, learning, and following the Word of God and his faith.
From regular congregational preaching and attendance to multiple Bible studies, to choir member and spiritual leader over the choir; to faith-based housing and programs participation/completion, the founder has sought to draw ever closer to the Way, the Truth, & the Life: Jesus Christ.
After release from prison, he was twice Licensed as a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ — by Lost Sheep Ministries on July 11th, 2016, and by First Baptist Church of Dickinson Texas on June 25th, 2017.
By the Authority and Order of the First Baptist Church of Dickinson Texas, he was... solemnly and publicly set apart and ordained to the work of The Gospel Ministry.
After careful and in-depth judgment of his God Given gifts, Christian Experience, call to the ministry, and the views of Bible Doctrine the Ordination Council issued the Certificate of Ordination on the 13th day of February, 2021.
From Vision to Reality, the founder is pursuing the same standard of excellence for the GNZ, and our communities.
