Mission

   It is the God-given vision and the mission of the God's Neutral Zone: The GNZ to bring hope and meaningful opportunities and skills training to the citizens of our inner cities.

   The GNZ will fulfill this visionary mission through building recreational/vocational centers that will:

• Encourage citizenry participation through Professional Athlete advocacy, instruction, and Christian mentoring...

• Provide General Education Development (G.E.D.) programs, and Equip individuals with Vocational Skills that will transform and transcend environmental circumstances; providing a way out of the traps inherent to gangs, poverty, and the antisocial pressures that are prevalent in our inner cities.

• Build and maintain stellar Recreational Facilities and

• Offer Recovery Services to those individuals who wish to overcome the devastating downward spiral of additions and failing habits.

   Scheduled (free) events such as motivational speaking engagements, autobiographical information, autograph signings, and testimonials on how to achieve the regimens of discipline that have launched these NBA, NFL, MLB, Soccer, NASCAR Drivers, Wrestlers, and all other professional athletes (both active and retired) to championship titles and globally acknowledged success...

   The vocational training side of this nonprofit organization will provide quality, certifiable, skills that are predominate in the area.

   Skills taught will included trades such as HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration), Welding (including underwater welding), Carpentry, Automotive Mechanics (both gas and diesel), Technology training, etc.

   The GNZ will also encourage, promote, and schedule, Community and Law Enforcement events that will bring mutual understanding to bridge the divide and chasm of suspicion and fear which now inhabits our inner cities...

   Here at The GNZ, it is our certainty that demonstrated concern and continuing interaction between citizens and police will bring understanding to both sides of the issue.

   It is our position that understanding eliminates fear of the unknown, misjudgment, prejudice and profiling...

   On-going involvement, in a neutrally safe environment, will give birth to concern. As diverse people consistently interact in such a setting, stories unfold –– given a chance, people are apt to love the familiar.

   When people become familiar, compassion becomes the rule. When compassion becomes the rule, the environment becomes the fertile birthing ground for GREATNESS.
